FRONT AND REAR PARKING SENSORS

The new surround parking sensors complement the Park Assist perfectly. The parking sensors assist the driver with parking and work in conjunction with all of the infotainment systems available for the Kodiaq.

REAR TRAFFIC ALERT

When reversing out of parking bays, Rear Traffic Alert recognises vehicles approaching from the sides. An acoustic signal warns of an impending collision. The “critical side” is shown first in yellow and then in red on the infotainment display. The brakes are applied automatically if necessary.

REAR-VIEW CAMERA WITH WASHER

When reverse gear is engaged, the camera in the tailgate is activated and the image is shown on the infotainment system display. Dynamic guide lines laid over the image show the direction in which the vehicle would go with the position of the steering wheel or indicate when it should be turned.

FULL LED HEADLIGHTS

The full LED headlights are nothing short of a small technical miracle. They consist of three reflectors: the inner one generates the full beam, the outer one the dipped beam, and between them there’s a static cornering lamp. LED daytime running lights are fitted as standard.

The full LED headlights are complemented by the very best rear LED lamps, integrating 51 diodes. The direction indicator sits inside the C-shape, with the brake light positioned above it.
